July 10, 2007: PUBLIC ART EXHIBITION "PATTERNS OF LIFE" July 6 - August 2nd, 2007 NEW YORK, NY — July 10, 2007 — The Curb Art Space, the multi-use west side art gallery, continues its practice of featuring innovative artists intent on challenging conventional expectations. This 21 day exhibition will feature fractals artist Julie Lee and her asymmetric view of nature’s mathematics; mixed-media painter Joey Kilrain combines found frames and tongue-in-cheek graphics to hint at the humor of life. "From my first meeting with Julie, I immediately felt dynamism with her, and this show is a direct result of our mutual respect and different perspectives," said Joey Kilrain, artist and Creative Director, Gigapixel Creative. "The show challenges the viewer to recognize everyday patterns - how they invade our perceptual view, but go unnoticed throughout the day. The combined works make for playful and serious puns on everyday visuals." The opening receptions for the artists will be held on Friday, July 13th from 6:30 to 9:30 P.M. at the CURB Artspace.
