About the Curb Art Space
Dr. Kiril Tarpov founded The Curb Art Space in March 2002. Its first event was a ceramics exhibition by Karo Atanasov. Since its inceptions the Curb Art Space has hosted numerous exhibitions by various artists, including Karo Atanasov, Iliyan Ivanov, Robert Aitchison, Peter Dean, Martin Dean, Reno, Kangny, Milen Sarandev, Krys Swiatek, Katina Ansen, Karen Kang, Stoyan Tchukanov – Tchoki, MILENE, Angel Pachamanov, Anna Janeva, Peter Russovski, Eve Warnock, Ilia Iliev, Juan Jose Vidal, Nikolay Yanakiev, Konstantin Liondev, Peter Mitchev, Jordan Ivanov, Kina Bagovska, Ralitza Vladimirov, Vassilen Vasevski, Mark Bouthileete, Alexa Williams, Kiril Hristov, Kiril Tarpov, Liz Liggett, Vangelis Lykos, Mark Wiener, Marion Talan, Michelle Talan, Joseph Kilrain, Dejan Valkov, Penko Platikanov, Tania Bernard, Molly Ackerman, Carlos Fighetti, Vanessa Rae Kalman, Sybille Mathiaud, Fred Rohde, Ljuba Sardanova and others.

The main objective of The Curb Art Space is to present all art forms in a "chamber" format, and the first implementation of this concept was the "Festival in Suitcase" in December 2002. In November 2003 the organization opened its second gallery location, intended mainly for sculpture and ceramics exhibitions, with a show by Khachik Bozoghlian.

In the Fall of 2002 Dr. Kiril Tarpov, in collaboration with Iliyan Ivanov, Robert Aitchison, Simeon Simeonov, and Emanouil Manolov, formed the Curb Arts Group. In 2005 this art formation became the foundation of the Young Soloist of New York chamber society.
